91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Appoints Mark Bisset as President, 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Asia Pacific

Somerset, N.J.– October 28, 2014 â€“ 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Pharma Solutions, the leading global provider of advanced delivery technologies and development solutions for drugs, biologics and consumer health products, today announced the promotion of Australia Country General Manager, Mark Bisset, to President, 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Asia Pacific. He succeeds David Heyens who has announced that he plans to retire from 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ on December 31st 2014.

“Mark assumes his new role at an exciting time of expansion in the region and we welcome him to the Executive Leadership Team,†commented John Chiminski, 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµâ€™s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We have made substantial investments in two joint ventures in China to serve our growing customer base there. Additionally, we are celebrating our 40th year in Japan with a new laboratory and the build-out of more manufacturing capacity, and are seeing strong market growth in these and other parts of the Asia Pacific region.â€

Prior to joining 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ, Mr. Bisset was Chief Executive Officer for Strides Europe, leading all commercial and manufacturing activities across multiple countries while based in Poland. He had previously spent four years as Chief Operating Officer for Strides’ Australian and Asian businesses, overseeing a number of acquisitions including the successful integration of the ex-Genepharm business. Before that, he held global business development and product management roles with Mayne Pharma Ltd., Amrad Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd. and Bristol Myers Squibb.

A native of Melbourne, Australia, Mr. Bisset is a qualified pharmacist and earned a bachelor’s at Australia’s Victorian College of Pharmacy and a graduate diploma in business from Monash University.
